The Division of Highway Services (DHS) will begin an urgent
erosion abatement project on October 26 at the Falls Road Bridge, located about
50 yards south of Oaklyn Drive. The project is expected to take about five
weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Drivers should expect some lane closures and/or alternating
one-way traffic, but the road will not be closed to traffic. Work hours will be
7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
For questions or concerns about the project, call the MC311
Call Center at 311 or 240-777-0311 or go online.
