The region’s Capital Bikeshare
system celebrated its fifth anniversary and MCDOT’s Commuter Services joined
the festivities by hosting events in Silver Spring, Rockville and Bethesda.
Staff distributed free Capital Bikeshare promotional items and free 24-hour
membership coupons. Those stopping by their
booths had the opportunity to sign up for raffles to win bike helmets and an
annual membership.
