Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Study Finds Speed Cameras Have Significantly Reduced Deaths and Injuries in Montgomery County


The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has issued a report stating that Montgomery County’s speed-camera program has led to long-term changes in driver behavior and substantial reductions in deaths and injuries.  The IIHS presented the research at the annual meeting of the Governors Highway Safety Association in Nashville.
