SHA Completes MD 355/Cedar Lane Intersection Improvement Project in Bethesda; Final Touches for BRAC-Related Project to be Completed This Spring


The Maryland Department of Transportation’s (MDOT) State Highway Administration (SHA) has completed construction on a $16.1 million intersection improvement project on MD 355 (Rockville Pike) at Cedar Lane/West Cedar Lane in Bethesda.  The new, wider MD 355 and reconstructed Cedar Lane intersection eases congestion in the heavily-traveled corridor, improving access to area jobs, businesses, federal agencies and schools.
