During construction of the Purple
Line and Capital Crescent Trail, the existing Georgetown Branch Trail will be
closed to ensure public safety. MCDOT is
seeking public input on a proposed interim trail route at an open house planned
for Wednesday, March 15, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Room B of the Bethesda-Chevy
Chase Regional Services Center, 4805 Edgemoor Lane, Bethesda.
