Montgomery and Howard County Executives Were Featured Speakers on the US 29 BRT at BISNOW Event

Christopher Leinberger, Chair and Professor, Center for Real Estate at George Washington University (left), Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett (center) and Howard County Executive Allan Kittleman (right) discussed how Bus Rapid Transit along Route 29. 
On February 23, Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett and Howard County Executive Allan Kittleman were invited by BISNOW to discuss “Connecting Howard and Montgomery Counties and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)." The county executives addressed how the US 29 BRT, which MCDOT is planning to build by 2020, will improve transit options and unlock economic potential among key employment and innovation centers along the corridor.
