State Bill Could Speed Up Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvements


 A state bill signed into law by Governor Larry Hogan requires the State Highway Administration (SHA) to act within a year of when Montgomery County designates a location as a Bicycle-Pedestrian Priority Area. SHA would then be required to ensure that the needs of bicyclists and pedestrians are taken into account during all phases of transportation planning, design, construction or expansion.  Read more.
