The Montgomery County Department
of Transportation (MCDOT) and the Montgomery County Department of Environmental
Protection (MCDEP) have collaborated on another Green Streets project
to install state-of-the-art stormwater treatments in the Dennis Avenue area of Silver
Spring. MCDOT’s Division of Transportation Engineering managed the construction
and MCDEP funded the project using grants from the Maryland Department of
Natural Resources and the Chesapeake and Atlantic Coastal Bays Trust Funds. Read more
