YOLO Campaign Wins National Awards
The Montgomery County Department
of Transportation (MCDOT) “YOLO (You Only Live Once) High School Pedestrian
Safety Education Program” has won national recognition from two organizations:
A 2015 National Association of Counties (NACo) Achievement Award in the
category of Civic Education and Public Information; and first place in the
Promotional Campaigns under $100,000 category, as well as best in show from the
National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC) Blue Pencil and Gold
Screen Awards.
