When Highway Services is
in a neighborhood to repair sidewalks and curbs, MCDOT gives homeowners the
opportunity to use the County’s competitively bid contract prices to repair
their driveway aprons and lead sidewalks. When MCDOT begins work, a County
inspector will evaluate the condition of homeowners' driveways and sidewalks.
If they need replacement, the inspector will leave instructions at the resident's
door about opting into the program. More information is available
