MCDOT’s Division of Transportation Engineering has installed two bicycle repair stations along the
Bethesda Trolley Trail that they are calling “bikefixations.” The stations come
complete with everything needed for basic bicycle maintenance and repairs, such
as changing a flat tire or adjusting brakes, and include tools and an air
pump.
One station was installed at the intersection of the Trail with Edson Lane and Woodglen Drive and the other at Beech Avenue and Montgomery Drive.
MCDOT hopes to install more stations in the future.
