The County has a variety
of transportation options to help older adults and persons with disabilities
get to where they want to go. A new education campaign is trying to raise awareness
of these free and discounted bus and taxi services.
Options include: Free
Ride On service midday on weekdays; Senior SmarTrip cards; Metro Access for
medical appointments or other types of trips; Call ‘N’ Ride taxi discounts; and
Senior Connection, a service that uses volunteer drivers.
