The Montgomery County Department of Transportation promoted pedestrian safety at
the Pike District Fall Fest on October 8 with its innovative street teams. Wearing back packs with attached StreetSmart
safety message banners, the team members engage residents by distributing safety tips and retroreflective
zipper pulls that help walkers and bikers
stay visible at night.
