Update: Phase Three of Glenmont
Metro Station Bus Bay Closures to Begin on Monday, July 10
Metro began
replacing the glass canopies at the Glenmont Station on Sept. 12, 2022. During
the glass canopy construction, some bus bays have been closed in phases and the
associated bus routes have been temporarily relocated. Phase Three is now
projected to begin on Monday, July 10, with the closing of Bays E & F. The
information below shows temporary locations of the affected bus routes.
Phase 3 - Bus Bays E and F will be closed:
- Ride On 10 (Twinbrook and Hillandale) will use Bus Bay D
- Ride On 26 (Montgomery Mall Transit Center) will use Bus Bay C
- Ride On 31 (Wheaton) will use Bus Bay C
- Ride On 49 (Rockville) will use Bus Bay C
- The FDA shuttle will use Bus Bay D
- Metrobus Y2, Y7, Y8 (Silver Spring) will use Bus Bay D
- Metrobus C8 (College Park and North Bethesda) will use Bus Bay H
- Metro Access and Metrobus Shuttle will use Bus Bay D
