Commuter Services’ annual Walk
and Ride competition encourages work teams in the County’s five Transportation
Management Districts to add steps to their daily work-related activities. Teams
track their walking during commutes or at lunchtime and compete for prizes.
Walk and Ride will be held in Friendship Heights, Silver Spring, North Bethesda and Shady Grove from October 5 to 23. The competition is scheduled for October 4 to
24 in downtown
Bethesda.
