Roshdieh Joins Leggett, MDOT Secretary Rahn and SHA Administrator Peters to Promote Safety Awareness in Work Zones


 

During National Work Zone Awareness Week, Montgomery County Department of Transportation Acting Director Al Roshdieh joined County Executive Isiah Leggett and State Highway Administrator Melinda Peters to raise awareness about driving safely through live construction zones. Last year, nine people were killed in Maryland work zone-related crashes. During the last five years, there have been more than 8,000 work zone-related crashes contributing to more than 3,600 injuries. Read more.
