Montgomery County to Begin Residential Street Sweeping April 6

Montgomery County’s residential roadways will get a spring cleaning with the launch of the annual street sweeping program on about 4,000 of the County’s 5,000 lane miles of roads will get a spring cleaning with the launch of the annual street sweeping program. This joint effort between the Department of Transportation (MCDOT) and Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) removes 1,000 tons of debris left behind after the winter snow season to improve water quality. Read more.
