The 75th
Annual Montgomery County Agricultural Fair will again bring out the best of the
County’s agricultural life and many ways to be entertained for nine days, from
Friday, Aug. 9, through Saturday, Aug. 17, at the County Agricultural Center in
Gaithersburg. The fair includes animals, entertainment, food, commercial, home
arts, arts and crafts exhibits.
MCDOT will
staff a large booth from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Ride On and Pedestrian Safety will be there with games and prizes and to distribute helpful
information.
General
admission to the fair is $15 on-site and $12 if purchased online here. Children 11 and under are free. Parking
at the fairgrounds is $15 per vehicle. Information on all aspects of the fair

To save time
and money, attendees are encouraged to take the RideOn bus for $1 when visiting the fairgrounds on Perry Parkway in Gaithersburg. The
nearest Ride On bus stops and routes are:
- Route 54 (Rockville-Lakeforest)
This route will experience a detour from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. daily.
To Rockville
Station: From Lakeforest
Boulevard, take a right on MD-355, immediately left on Montgomery Village Avenue, continue on Quince Orchard Road, left on West Diamond Avenue, and back on route. Stops 23530, 24842, 24844, 28812, 24846 and 24848 will be bypassed. Use alternate stops 23530 and 21806.
To Lakeforest Boulevard: Bypass Perry Parkway, continue on West Diamond Avenue, then right on Quince Orchard Boulevard-Montgomery Village Avenue, right on Frederick Road (MD-355), then left on Lakeforest Boulevard, and back on route. Stops 24840, 24838, 24836, 24834 and 24832 will be bypassed. Use alternate stops 23528 and 21826.
- Route 55 (Rockville-Germantown Transit Center)
Bus stops 22638, 22636, 22514, and 22634.
- Route 59: (Rockville-Montgomery Village)
Bus stops 22638, 22636, 22514, and 22634.
- Route 61 (Shady Grove-Germantown Transit Center)
Bus stops 24640, 24652, 22516, and 22632.
- Ride On extRa (Lakeforest Transit Center-Medical Center).
