Montgomery County Department of
Transportation (MCDOT) Acting Director Al Roshdieh commended department
employees for their exemplary service during this difficult snow season. Read
his email to staff below:
“I wanted to take a moment and
say thank you to the entire MCDOT team for your efforts and hard work through
this winter season. Each time Mother Nature
has thrown snow, ice and extreme cold our way, the dedicated men and women of
MCDOT have stepped up and delivered with exceptional customer service. I can assure you that your work to treat and
plow our roads and parking facilities, provide transit service to our Ride-On
customers, ensure our traffic signals are functioning and support all our
operations are recognized by the public and our elected officials.
“It is all of you in MCDOT, your
talent and commitment, not only during extraordinary circumstances but day in
and day out, that makes our department great. I am very proud to lead such an
outstanding group of people and I am proud of all of you.
“Thank you!”
